About Bengal Cats

 

Origins

 

Bengal cats were first developed in the 1980s by crossing domestic cats with the Asian leopard cat. The goal was simple: a cat with wild beauty and a gentle, family-friendly temperament.
 

Appearance

 

With sleek, muscular bodies and coats patterned in spots, rosettes, or marbling, Bengals look like little leopards. Their short, soft fur comes in many colors, and their striking eyes range from gold to green to blue.

 

Behavior

 

Bengals are playful, intelligent, and affectionate. They love attention, enjoy interactive play, and are known for their curiosity — even around water!

 

Care

 

Bengals are low-maintenance cats that thrive on quality food, play, and family interaction. A little grooming and lots of love keep them happy and healthy.
